Washi Tape -- how do I use it?

So as I was catching up through RSS feeds from various wonderful blogs to which I am subscribed, I read this post from a wonderful blogger Amy J at Delightful Distractions.  Do check her out as she's come up with simple ways to create your very own Washi Tape! She even offers some beautiful free printables -- I was in heaven when I found them today ;)

Ok, back to washi tape... there's a lot to choose from out there but as I was browsing through Michael's some weeks ago, I found myself some washi tapes that I just had to have. Now, I am guilty of not taking pictures of the washi tape that I've used in several little projects, come to think of it I believe the very first time I used them was to create a H.S. Graduation gift bag for my little brother. Needless to say, he loved it! even his girlfriend complimented the gift bag aww... it brought a smile to my face :)

Here's a picture of the envelope in which I enclosed my hubby's birthday card this past Monday, he, too, loved it and this time I did take a picture. It's nothing out of this world but the washi tape does make a huge difference (I can't wait to use the ones Amy J created and this time I will take pictures!)
