Habemus Papam

Today, 13 March 2013, our Catholic Church rejoiced as we welcomed our New Pope Francis (Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He is the first Latin American Pope, the first Jesuit to be a Pope and the first to take on the name Francis.

We are truly blessed and we offer our prayers for him -- May our Lord continue to fill him with His Holy Spirit, His wisdom, His compassion and His election for the poor.

A new journey has begun!
