My favorite scene: Mom's Night Out

I had the privilege of watching this wonderful movie, Mom's Night Out, in a special screening in Sherman Oaks and I have to tell you, I. LOVED. IT.  I truly hope many of you saw it during its opening weekend but if you haven't had the chance, don't delay and go out and enjoy Mom's Night Out!

I personally identified with Ally and what she is going through so when this scene came up, I was bawling and I couldn't contain myself! It was so emotional and it felt so personal because it is true, sometimes we doubt who we've become or what we want to be for others, for our children especially but the bottom line is that all we can be is ourselves and accept the fact that God loves us no matter what. High and low, He is always there.

Be blessed!

National Day of Prayer

Today, Monday, May 1st we celebrated the National Day of Prayer.

Because prayer for me is an important component of my daily life, I wanted to make mention of this special day and ask all of you to pray, on your own, with your family or your Church community but pray, pray, PRAY!

Be blessed!
