Emma Watson, one of the UN Women Goodwill Ambassadors delivered her speech at the UN and has been 'trending' in all kinds of social media outlets.

She opened her speech with the following:

"Feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of political, economic and social equality of the sexes."

How true is this today? Not so much, unfortunately. Especially in what we call today, Third World Countries. We must as a people of the world, make a change -- actually, be the change. It is not easy or simple but it can be done. I invite you to watch her speech and to listen with the ears of the heart. No matter where you may be or what you do, a small change is all we need.

Miss Watson did bring up a very important point though, "I think it is right that I should be able to make decisions about my own body." Now this part is tricky, as a believer in Christ, a mother and simply a woman, decisions about our bodies should be made in the eyes of our Creator and not what society dictates for us and doing what is popular especially when it comes to matters of life. Think about it, if we want equality, we must then be just!

Who is Andrea Logan White?

Hi there!

If you haven't seen Mom's Night Out don't fret; the DVD will be available for purchase starting September 2nd -- I highly recommend that you watch this movie either with your whole family or with all your gals, it is absolutely hilarious! The cast is awesome and the laughs won't stop coming your way as well as some tears here and there.

As I had previously share with ya'll, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a screening of the movie. I even got to take a picture with some of the cast members including the wonderful Sarah Drew. They were all so amazing and just recently, I found out a little more about Mrs. Andrea Logan White. WOW! What a great testimony! So please, take a few minutes and click on the video below and find the real woman behind the actress.
