During my lunch hour, as I was catching up with my blog updates I came across one that gave me a lot to think about, Claire Culwell, a face for the pro-life movement. After reading her story, I kept thinking how can she not be angry, unhappy with her birth mother? But she answered that question for me...

Claire is a 22 year old young woman who is an an abortion survivor. Her mother became pregnant at the early age of 13. Her mother took her to an abortion clinic and she had a surgical abortion at 5 months. A month later while at a gym class, her friend told her that she'd better ask her mom to take her back to the clinic and make sure everything was OK. The news she heard that day, changed her life as she learned that she was still pregnant. She had had a "successful abortion" but she had twins and one had survived. Claire Culwell is this courageous survivor and she says that her birth mother gave her the most beautiful gift of all; LIFE!
