See, this is exactly why I'm a devout follower of all things REAL SIMPLE.  Read on and learn how to use old things for new and improved uses!  I will share a few that I completely love because they are so simple and I know we all have these somewhere around the house (or kitchen to be exact) ...






Ice cube tray as a paint palette ~ for every little artist in the house! Plus you can mix your colors for new creations... let their imagination fly!









Oven mitt as a BBQ utensil holder ~ must I say more... well, except for everything will be handy by the grill.

Cupcake liners as helpful drip catchers ~ if you have little ones in the house, you know that when those sunny summer days arrive your freezer better be stocked up with lots and lots of Popsicles. And who likes sticky, messy hands or floors? No one! So next time you serve one, stick it through a cupcake liner and you'll be a happy camper or in this case; mommy!
